Annual Spring Break Build
2011 in Memory of Bob Sanford
Marianna, Florida

IMMEDIATE NEED for Skilled and Semi skilled Construction Volunteers to work with College Students on Spring Build - March 7 through March 11

For the past 17 years a dedicated group of college students have raised money for travel costs and a financial contribution for the construction of Habitat homes in Jackson County. They leave Marianna having experienced southern hospitality and basic construction experiences while having been a part of God’s love in action.

Objective: Identify volunteers to partner with 18 university students from Blackburn College to dry in a new Habitat Home to be built at 4076 McCrary Drive - off Sunset Drive (see map at the bottom of this page) in Marianna in partnership with a local Habitat partner. This home is being built in memory of Bob Sanford who was involved with Habitat from the beginning in Jackson County. His family has contributed donations and will be participating during the week.
